Common Conditions

Developmental Delay
Pediatric physical therapy provides services to help with developmental delay and help children improve their motor skills and reach their developmental milestones. Our goal is to provide appropriate and effective interventions to help children reach their full potential.

Torticollis/Plagiocephaly
Plagiocephaly is one of the most common conditions for infants and physical therapy can help by promoting activities to assist with head shaping. Torticollis is a condition where the muscles in the neck get tight and restrict movement, which can interfere with development and feeding. Early treatment by a physical therapist is essential for the best outcomes.

Hypotonia
Pediatric physical therapy can help infants and children with hypotonia by increasing strength, improving coordination, and enhancing motor development.

Prematurity
As a NICU therapist, I understand the difficulties that come with preterm birth can be overwhelming. I specialize in providing care tailored to the needs of preemies. I use evidence-based treatments to help preemies reach their milestones and help families adjust to the challenges of prematurity.

Bodywork
Pediatric physical therapy bodywork can help release muscles and connective tissue tension that may be restricting movement. I am certified in neonatal and infant massage, trigger point release, and myofascial release that can help restore function and reduce tension.

"Jeanine is a very gifted and talented therapist and helped my daughter make huge strides..." "Jeanine was extremely patient with my daughter and always was creative and able to make her sessions fun. She also gave us the right tools at home to continue her progress, even when we weren't able to see her in person, which was very beneficial to her progress." -Heather
